About the Mobile Home Our Mobile home is situated at Camping du Quinquis which is located in the small seaside village of Le Pouldu, in the southwest corner of the Department of Finistere, Brittany. Le Pouldu is about 15 kms north of Lorient and 10kms west of the medieval town of Quimperle.

Camping du Quinquis has a 3 star rating and offers accommodation in mobile homes, chalets and tents. The site is set in 20 acres of woodland park about 2km from Le Pouldu on the south coast.
The facilities at Quinquis includes 3 swimming pools, with a new leisure pool which opened in May 2005, a superbly run children's club and a highly recommended takeaway and bar. In 2006 they opened the new tennis court, boules pitch and volley ball court. For the children there are 2 sandy playground areas.

The surrounding area is very typically Breton and reminiscent of the countryside and coastline of Pembrokeshire in Wales and Cornwall. This area of Brittany is, in fact, known locally as Le Pays de Cornouaille (the country of Cornwall) reflecting both the historical links of the Celtic nations and the current rich mixture of culture and activities in music, dance, language and customs.

The Mobile Home
This Mobile Home has external dimensions of 7.9 metres long by 3 metres wide. The layout comprises of an end lounge with a galley kitchen. Within the kitchen area you will find a gas four ring hob, grill, oven and microwave. A full size fridge is provided. The master bedroom has normal sized double bed, bedside tables and a large wardrobe. The second bedroom has twin single beds and a bunk bed (Suitable for a small Child), this room also has wardrobe. There is a Double Bed available in the Lounge area.
The Mobile Home has a bathroom with shower, wash basin, storage space and toilet. Hot water is supplied on demand via an integrated water heater. The home has a gas fire fitted in the lounge area and is provided with smoke detectors and fire extinguishers.The caravan has a radio/cd player and television with a DVD. You cannot watch any local television but I suggest you bring a couple of DVDs for those hopefully rare rainy days.A Barbecue is provided, please replace any coals that you use ready for the next guests.
