TERMS & CONDITIONS

All bookings are subject to the following conditions
Southern Brittany Holidays is our trading name. The following conditions show our commitment to you and form your contract with us. Your contract will be governed by English Law.

Brochure Information & Prices
Our brochure and web site is published many months before you go on holiday and as far as we are aware all information is correct at the time of printing. However, certain points may change after the brochure and web site has been completed. If there are any significant changes or we find errors have been made we will advise you of the correct and latest information at the time of booking. If you have already made a booking we will endeavour to inform you of any changes as soon as possible.

Booking & Payment for Your Holiday

When you book your holiday you are required to pay either the deposit of £100 per week, or if your booking is 8 weeks or less to the date booked you are required to pay for the holiday cost in full. You must be 18 years or over at the time of booking and be present on the holiday for its entire duration.

A confirmed booking and contract will exist between us only when Southern Brittany Holidays receives the completed written booking form (this is a word document) and required deposit from the hirer.

As soon as all your requirements have been confirmed we will issue an invoice confirming the holiday details and cost. Please check your invoice carefully and call us immediately if you have any queries. If you wish to cancel your booking with returnable deposit, you must notify us within 7 days of the date shown on the invoice. (This does not apply to bookings confirmed within 8 weeks of departure)

Southern Brittany Holidays must receive full payment from the hirer within 8 weeks prior to arrival, otherwise we have the right to cancel the holiday booking with loss of the deposit.

All bookings are accepted at the discretion of Southern Brittany Holidays.

Planning Your Journey
It is your responsibility to plan your journey and if taking a self drive holiday to provide a road worthy vehicle. We will not offer a refund for unused accommodation if insufficient time has been allowed for travelling or you have broken down.

Campsite Facilities
Sometimes facilities described in the brochure will be withdrawn for reasons such as maintenance, bad weather or lack of demand at the discretion of the camp site owner. Some facilities may only be available during the high season.

Arrival or Departure
All accommodation should be vacated by 11.00am on day of departure. Arrivals should be after 3.00pm and before 8.00pm. If you wish to arrive after 8.00pm you should notify us beforehand. Please be aware that should you arrive at the campsite after 11.00pm you will have to leave your vehicle at the campsite entrance until the following morning, therefore, please be prepared to carry what you require overnight to your accommodation.

Cancellation by You
You must give notice of cancellation in writing.

The £100 non returnable deposit will not be refunded, therefore, we
recommend that you arrange suitable insurance cover for your protection.

Changes Made By Us
From time to time we may have to change your holiday arrangements and if so we will notify you as soon as possible. If changes made before your departure have significant effect on your holiday and you do not want to accept the change, you can receive a full refund or cancel your holiday and receive a full return of the monies paid.

Force Majeure
Unless specifically stated we cannot accept liability or pay compensation where our performance is prevented or affected by “force majeure”. In these conditions “force majeure” means any event which we or the supplier of a service could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather, fire or similar events outside our control.

Campsite Regulations
Whilst we want all of our customers to enjoy their holiday you are responsible for your actions and the effect these may have on others. You must abide by the campsite rules and regulations and take reasonable care of our accommodation and equipment. We reserve the right to seek damages from you if our property is wilfully damaged. If your behaviour is found to cause danger or distress to other campsite users or anyone else, or you wilfully cause damage, you may be asked to leave the campsite. In such circumstances we will not be liable for reimbursing your holiday cost or contributing to any expense you may incur in making alternative arrangements.

The user should agree to abide by the campsite rules and regulations. The use of the campsite facilities is entirely at the user’s risk, no responsibility can be accepted by Southern Brittany Holidays for injury to a user.

Southern Brittany Holidays cannot be held responsible if you suffer loss or damage as a consequence of failing to take reasonable care of you, your party and possessions whilst hiring one of our holiday homes. We therefore recommend that you arrange suitable insurance cover.
